Bonus Option Issue

Charter Pacific Corporation Limited (ASX: CHF) today resolved to make a “bonus option issue” – an issue of 2 year options exercisable at 12 cents each to all shareholders on the basis of nine bonus options for every ten shares held on the share register as at 2 February 2009. A prospectus for the bonus option issue will be forwarded to all shareholders prior to that date.
