Charter Pacific Capital Appoints Executive Chairman

Listed investment company Charter Pacific Corporation Limited (ASX:CHF) today announced the appointment of Mr Barry J. Driscoll as Executive Chairman of its wholly-owned subsidiary, the Melbourne-based corporate advisory firm Charter Pacific Capital (CP Capital) which holds AFSL No. 304985.

Mr Driscoll will be responsible for managing the CP Capital business and building its pipeline of new advisory business and capturing new investment opportunities for the Group. CP Capital provides strategic and corporate finance advice to small and mid sized listed and private companies in Australia and overseas.

Mr Driscoll joins CP Capital following thirteen years with The Bank of New York Mellon where he was responsible for their America Depository Receipt Business for Australia and New Zealand. Mr Driscoll will continue his work assisting companies on ADR programs where he will advise and consult to CP Capital clients and depositary banks.

Charter Pacific Corporation has established a long term working relationship with Mr Driscoll over the past ten years as he has worked with the Group in assisting its diverse range of portfolio investment companies to establish themselves in the US capital markets.

Mr Driscoll holds a Diploma of Accounting and is a graduate of the Mt. Eliza Business School obtaining several professional memberships including The Finance and Treasury Association and The Australian Institute of Company Directors.
