David Murray, chairman of AMP and veteran banker, has bought some shares in unlisted Gold Coast technology hopeful Charter Pacific, according to the company.
Charter, off the ASX since 2017 and which last year won a fight to control patents relating to smart-card biometrics, describes David as a co-author of one of the family of patents.
It says the Murray shareholding suggests “an obvious possible commercial market” for the patents.
