Legal and beneficial ownership of patents determined today by the Supreme Court of New South Wales

December 11, 2019 By Charter Pacific

There is no dispute over the ownership of the patent portfolio, this matter was settled today by Justice Henry, in the Supreme Court of New South Wales Equity Division and the Court ordered Christopher John Burke and CJ Burke Nominees Pty Ltd to execute deeds of assignment of the various patents. Those deeds of assignment have been executed by Christopher John Burke and CJ Burke Nominees Pty Ltd as the Court has ordered.

In short, Christopher John Burke and/or his associated entities do not own and do not exclusively control and manage any of the mobile biometrics patent portfolio.

Therefore Christopher John Burke, Microlatch Limited (Hong Kong), CJ Burke Nominees Pty Ltd, or any other entity associated with Christopher John Burke do not have a valid license from either Securicom (NSW) Pty Ltd (in liquidation) or Microlatch Pty Ltd (in liquidation) and have no authority to issue any license whatsoever to any person or corporate entity for the Intellectual Property held by Securicom or Microlatch.
