CPC v HMD Global Oy (Nokia) – United States District Court Western District Of Texas Waco Division (Case No. 6:21-cv-00166) – 5 June 2023
The abovementioned matter has been set down for trial before US District Judge, Alan D Albright, in the US District Court Western District Of Texas Waco Division in Waco to commence on 5 June 2023 for 5 days. Jury selection set for 2 June 2023.
The court will hear CPC’s claims that HMD Global Oy infringes CPC’s U.S. Patent No. 9,269,208 entitled “Remote entry system”, and U.S. Patent No. 9,665,705 entitled “Remote entry system”.
CPC’s lawyers, K&L Gates, are currently in the process of finalising CPC’s case in readiness for trial in June 2023.
CPC v Apple Pty Ltd – Federal Court of Australia (NSD998/2021) – 16 October 2023
The abovementioned matter has been set down for trial in the Federal Court of Australia, Sydney to commence on 16 October 2023 for a four week period.
The court will hear CPC’s claims that Apple Pty Ltd infringes CPC’s Australian Patent 2004301168 entitled “Remote entry system”, filed on 13 August 2004; and Australian Patent 2009201293 entitled “Remote entry system”, filed on 2 April 2009.
CPC’s lawyers, Gilbert + Tobin, are currently in the process of finalising CPC’s expert’s evidence in readiness for trial in October 2023.
