BBC Click presenter Spencer Kelly has been testing out the new smart cards that are starting to be rolled out around the world.
The smart cards provide a fast and secure way for consumers to authenticate their identity for in-store purchases using only their unique fingerprint.
The cards contain a fingerprint sensor that requires our patented technology ‘Remote Entry System’ to enrol the authorised users fingerprint.
A recent research report by Markets and Markets, has said the smart card market value is expected to reach $21.57 billion by 2023, with Asia Pacific expected to take the largest share of the market.
